There is no conclusive evidence this hatchment is for Elizabeth Gayer. The authoritative book on hatchments suggests it is possibly hers and she was the daughter of Robert Gayer of Stoke Park. He was Lord of the Manor of Stoke Poges but to enable him to pay his father’s legacies, he sold Stoke Park in 1723. She died in 1714.
